The order taker got it wrong and put Logic Express it instead. I called support and they Shipped Studio. Straight from the factory Logic Express, was showing all kinds of duplicate sounds and loops from GarageBand in the library. Once installed I looked an there were even more duplicates in the library, but all of the Jam Pack data, and much of the 3 disk Audio files set were missing.
I thought that reinstalling might skip the already installed stuff not true and only add the missing stuff, so Im currently in the middle of reinstalling it and it says it will take another 7 hours to finish. I came to the forum to find some answers and found out that the duplicates problem doesn't have a resolution, and the install time thing is a mystery. Im a bit scared that I've made a big mistake.

Buying old Copy of Logic 9. I have an old Mac that runs Apple no longer sells copies of Logic 9, but I have seen a few people selling the install disks on ebay and my local online marketplaces. A lot of them are used copies. Is it possible to install and run logic 9 using a used copy, or would them having used the serial number in the past prevent me from installing it?
